CISS AJK in collaboration with the ( @IRSIslamabad ) Institute of Regional Studies (IRS) Islamabad, organized a joint seminar to commemorate Kashmir Solidarity Day.
The seminar aimed to highlight the ongoing human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (#IIOJK) and to reaffirm solidarity with the oppressed people of the region.
The event featured a distinguished panel of speakers, including Senator Mushaid Hussain as the keynote speaker, alongside Major General (R) Dr. Samrez Salik (HI M), Dr. Asma Shakir Khawaja, Muzammil Ayub Thakur, and Dr. Muhammad Khan.
Seminar commenced with welcome remarks delivered by Ambassador Jauhar Saleem, setting the stage for a meaningful discussion on the plight of Kashmiris and the role of the international community in addressing their struggles.

The event was well attended by students, researchers, and senior professionals, reflecting a broad engagement from academia and policy circles.

The speakers underscored the grave human rights violations in IIOJK, urging the international community to stand with 🇵🇰Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) in advocating for the just cause of the Kashmiri people.

The discussions emphasized the urgent need for global intervention to ensure justice, self-determination, and the protection of fundamental rights for the people of Kashmir.

The event reinforced the commitment of Pakistan and AJK in their steadfast support for Kashmiris and called for renewed diplomatic efforts to raise awareness about the #Kashmir issue at regional and global forums.
