The Centre for International Strategic Studies, AJK (CISS AJK) had the honour of hosting the newly appointed Vice Chancellor of the University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (UAJK), Dr. Nasir Jamal Khattak, on his first academic visit to the Centre.

🔶The session was moderated by Associate Research Officer Abdul Basit, while Associate Director Zohaib Altaf briefed the Vice Chancellor on the domain and key contributions of CISS AJK.

🔶During the discussion, Associate Director Syeda Tahreem Bukhari proposed fostering academic collaboration among universities in AJK through a Vice Chancellors’ Roundtable on Academic Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing.

💡Dr. Nasir Khattak expressed his strong commitment with quality education & research culture. He stressed that academia–think tank linkages are bound to develop knowledge bank through knowledge-sharing & diversity. He appreciated the proposal of CISS AJK as an initiative much needed in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

📍In her concluding remarks, Dr. Asma Shakir Khawaja, Executive Director, CISS AJK, expressed gratitude to the Vice Chancellor for his visit and presented him with a souvenir as a token of appreciation.
