November 6, 1947, was a day when humanity failed in Jammu.
More than 200,000 Kashmiri Muslims were killed in cold blood.
Around 25,000 Kashmiri women were assaulted/raped/kidnapped.
Nearly 230,000 Kashmiris were forced to leave their homes and cross into Pakistan, leaving everything behind except their faith.
Within days, the Muslim population in Jammu fell from 61% to 33%.
This was not migration. It was a genocide by Hindutva radicals to change the regional demography.
Even after 78 years, the #pain has not faded.
It remains a reminder that #justice has still not been served.
