CISS AJK is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Hawelli – Kahuta Campus, an emerging center of higher learning dedicated to expanding educational access in one of AJK’s most remote regions. Since its establishment on November 16, 2017, the campus has played a vital role in uplifting the youth of Haveli District—especially female students—through accessible and quality academic programs.
The MoU was signed between Dr. Asma Shakir Khawaja, Executive Director, CISS AJK, and Khawaja Farooq Ahmed, Vice Chancellor, University of Hawelli (Kahuta Campus).
This collaboration aims to strengthen academic linkages, promote a culture of research, and create new opportunities for learning and professional development for students in the region. The Kahuta Campus, which began with programs in Education and Computer Science, continues to uphold UPR’s mission of fostering academic excellence, community engagement, and youth empowerment.
Together, both institutions are committed to enhancing educational opportunities and contributing to the broader development of AJK and Pakistan.
