The research faculty of the CISS AJK conducted a Strategic Outreach Program at Cadet College Pallandri, engaging 400 cadets from Matric and FSC classes in an interactive session on contemporary strategic and security issues.
🔹 Abdul Basit (Associate Research Officer) introduced CISS AJK, outlining its research mandate and highlighting academic, research, and professional opportunities available for youth in AJK.
🔹 Hira Bashir (Associate Research Officer) presented on the peaceful uses of nuclear technology, emphasizing its development-oriented applications in energy generation, healthcare, agriculture, and industry.
🔹 Tayyaba Khurshid (Research Officer) delivered a lecture on the fundamentals of arms control and disarmament, underscoring their relevance for regional stability and global security.
🔹 Abdul Rehman (Research Officer) discussed environmental security challenges in AJK, highlighting the nexus between climate change, human security, and sustainable development.
