The Politics of Hindutva Radicalism

by CISSAJK

Dr Asma Shakir Khawaja, Executive Director, CISS AJK highlighted that the politics of Hindutva radicalism, particularly in Uttar Pradesh and under the rule of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has not only found significant political space in India but continues to expand across the country.

➡️She emphasized that the Modi government’s anti-Pakistan and anti-Muslim rhetoric, coupled with the constructed narrative of transforming India into a “Vishwaguru”, has generated substantial political and electoral dividends, enabling BJP to secure repeated electoral victories.
