ARO Tayyaba Khurshid attended a Webinar titled ” Design for Climate Change in the Global South : 2022 Floods in Pakistan ” organized by London College of Communication on July 6th, 2023. The webinar highlighted the devastation caused by floods in Pakistan in 2022 and generated a conversation on challenges related to Climate Change. The Panelist Suggested a Holistic Approach at Policy level to deal climate issues where all stake-holders should sit together and design a mechanism that leads to climate adaptation and Sustainable development. Its a high time that nation-state approach must be replaced with planet centric approach while dealing with climate crisis.Climate adaptation and Climate change Mitigation needs a bottom up approach with top-down support.
