Executive Director of CISS AJK, Dr. Asma Khawaja, participated in the PTV World show “News Room” on 18 July, 2024, with Anchor Omar Butt to discuss the topic, ” Extremism in India”.
During the discussion, she said that minorities such as Sikhs, Muslims, Christians, and even low-caste Hindus are bullied and harassed by the Indian Hindu majority. This is why the world is calling India a majoritarian state. She further added that the ruling elite, along with the BJP, is part of the campaign against these minorities.
