Dr Asma Shakir Khawaja, Executive Director of the Center for International Strategic Studies (CISS) AJK, met with Retired Air Force Major General Barre R. Seguin, Director of the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studie. Major General (r) Barre oversees strategic education, capacity-building, and international security initiatives.
The engagement provided an opportunity to discuss key issues related to capacity-building and strategic studies.
As part of the meeting, Dr. Asma presented her book, “Shaking Hands with Clenched Fists: The Grand Trunk Road to Confidence Building Measures between Pakistan & India,” which offers a critical analysis of the Pakistan-India relationship and explores pathways for confidence-building measures. In addition to the book, a commemorative souvenir was also presented to the Director Barre R.
