It emphasized that Pakistan’s strategic capabilities are solely for defensive purposes, aimed at maintaining peace and stability in South Asia. The statement highlighted concerns about the sanctions exacerbating military imbalances and undermining regional strategic stability. Pakistan also criticized the discriminatory practices and double standards that weaken global non-proliferation efforts and endanger international peace and security.
