This infographic highlights the recent developments happened in context of the Bill tabled in Senate on the Regulation of Artificial Intelligence Act 2024. The act was proposed on 9th August, 2024 & the Draft was referred to Senate’s Standing Committee on IT for further deliberations. Recently, the Minsitry of IT & Telecom opposed the Regulation of AI Act by saying that it is too early to come up with a regulation for a technology that is emerging since the ecosystem is yet to develop.
