Chashma I Longest Operational Run in Pakistan’s Nuclear Energy History

Chashma Nuclear Power Plant Unit-1 (C-1) has set a national record with 400 consecutive days of uninterrupted power generation, surpassing previous records by C-2 and C-4.

🇵🇰As part of Pakistan’s 6 nuclear power units, C-1 contributes to a combined nuclear output of 3,530 MW.

The achievement reflects 100% compliance with safety standards, the excellence of PAEC scientists, and NTDC’s grid support.

It directly supports UN SDG-7, promoting clean, affordable, and reliable energy.

This milestone marks the longest operational run in Pakistan’s nuclear history, showcasing the country’s energy resilience and progress toward a sustainable future.
