On August 14, 2023, CISS AJK celebrated “Pakistan Independence Day” with a cake cutting ceremony. We came together in a spirited celebration, embracing the colors of patriotism and sharing memorable moments that reaffirmed our national pride and unity.
Azm-e-Noue: Long Live Pakistan
CISS AJK held an inhouse discussion on Azm-e-Noue: Long Live Pakistan, along with Cake Cutting Ceremony to celebrate the Pakistan Resolution Day with a pledge to work towards the progress of our beloved homeland through in-depth research and knowledge building. Dr Asma Khawaja, ED, critically analysis Two Nation Theory and its relevance while highlighting the discrimination faced by Muslims in India and IIOJK. The RO Zohaib Altaf spoke on “Role of Nuclear Technology to Strengthen Pakistan.” He highlighted the areas where Pakistan should focus to enhance its growth. RA Tayyaba Khurshid spoke on the “Role of Women in Pakistan Progress” by paying tribute to women like Fatima Jinnah, along with examining the current challenges faced by women, government initiatives to overcome those challenges and areas where more focus is required to uplift the status of women.

Cyber CBMs Between India and Pakistan
On July 19, 2023, Cyber team hosted twitter space on title “Cyber CBMs Between India and Pakistan” The event featured Fahad Nabeel, a highly regarded Lecturer at the National Defense University Islamabad, who shed light on the 14-Point framework in the context of cyber CBMs. The session also included a question-and-answer segment, during which participants raised various pertinent inquiries about Cyber CBMs. The discussion addressed the prospects and challenges associated with fostering cyber cooperation and concluded with insightful remarks from Shahzad Akram, a Research Officer at CISS AJK.
